Sarine Gacia Vosgueritchian
Program Director
Sarine Vosgueritchian is an educator, designer, and architect committed to fostering interdisciplinary, student-driven learning. She currently serves as the Program Director for NuVu Studio’s summer program, where she leads curriculum delivery, program design, and operations for local and international students. Her work focuses on building engaging, innovation-focused learning environments that empower students to explore complex ideas through creative practice. Sarine holds a Master of Architecture in Urbanism from MIT and has taught and mentored students in both academic and nontraditional settings. She is passionate about open-access education and collective knowledge, especially within the context of Armenian history and culture. Her educational practice is informed by her background in architecture, design, and archival research. Before joining NuVu, Sarine worked with architecture and preservation firms across Lebanon, Armenia, and the U.S., including SNKH, the Research on Armenian Architecture Foundation (RAA), and the offices of Hashim Sarkis and Paul Kalousdian. She also led the architectural archives at the American University of Beirut. Her publications include contributions to Room One Thousand and The Bloomsbury Global Encyclopedia of Women in Architecture.
