The dorm is within walking distance of the program at MIT. Administrative and residential staff are available throughout the program to support and supervise students.

Explore Cambridge & Boston

Experience the area’s academic, historic, professional, and entrepreneurial culture. With more than 100 colleges and universities—including technical, art, liberal arts, and research institutions—the region offers opportunities to explore future educational paths.

Organized activities include MIT and Harvard campus tours, startup visits, talks with makers and thought leaders, historic Boston sites, museums, waterfront and Innovation District walks, and dinner excursions.

Room & Board

Housing

Students stay in an MIT campus dormitory and share a suite with one or two other students in the Summer Residential Program.

A full administrative and residential team provides support, with Residential Assistants (RAs) assigned to groups of approximately 8–10 students and 24-hour supervision.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the Residential Program fee. Meals are served buffet-style or take place in the city as part of organized trips and dinner excursions.
