A summer of possibilities

Middle School at NuVu

A little glimpse of what happens when curiosity takes over the studio.

Big ideas become real things.

At NuVu, middle schoolers explore a challenge, sketch possibilities, build prototypes, and keep improving—with guidance from expert coaches.

The creative process

An idea is just the beginning.

Students learn to think through making: ask better questions, work through uncertainty, and use each experiment to decide what to try next.

Coaches guide the exploration without handing over the answer. Students leave with a project—and more confidence in their own ideas.

Life in the studio

Ideas grow through conversation, shared experiments, and hands-on coaching. Hear how one student describes the experience.

“I really liked working with a partner and bouncing off our ideas together. And our coach helping us figure out how to make these ideas. It was so cool using the laser cutter and 3d printers to make our solar-powered cooling vest”
